Tuesday afternoon there was a short Prologue, with 2 regularities and 2 tests. At the end of this Puff was 18^th overall and 2nd in class. Whoopee! However, sadly, this was not going to count in the overall results!!!

Day 1 – At the official Start on Wednesday morning, we started fairly early, running as Car No 32 on the road, although our competition number was 48. The first test was at a car park at Faenol. A very tight test round a small car park – not our forte! – and we were 75^th out of 89 cars. Regularities suit us better!

Day 2 – Very overcast weather with rain threatening, we start out on rally proper. Being ever watchful of drive shafts, (the drive shaft cost us 21^st place last year and 2^nd in class!), we get zeroes on some regs, but test times let us down.

Day 3 – Now the weather is very changeable. Today there are 4 regs, but 12 tests!!!   Oh dear.   We get to Mold where the Town Mayor starts us off on a regularity. Suzanne is scoring zeros, but test times are a bit sad as I was being just too careful! Overall 48^th/89 o/a and 4^th in class of 8 – not good enough for that trophy. We shall just have to give it one more try….

Onwards …. To the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed Forest Rally Stage in mid July!
